Muscio is the author of “Cunt: A Declaration of Independence” and “Rose: Love in Violent Times.” She will speak on her books; how movements like feminism, environmentalism and anti-racism are connected with the LGBTQ rights movement; and what can be done to move forward in a non-violent manner.
An author breakfast featuring Muscio will take place at 9 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, at the Blue Heron. Tickets are $10 and include a quiche, pastry and coffee.
Musico’s visit is sponsored by the WSU Gender-Based Violence Program, the Inclusion and Diversity Office and the Women’s and Gender Studies Program.
