The Winona State University Department of Theatre and Dance will present “God of Carnage” 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, through Sunday, Nov. 24, in the Dorothy B. Magnus Black Box Theatre in the Performing Arts Center.
“God of Carnage,” written by Yasmina Reza and translated by Christopher Hampton, follows the lives of two families that meet after their middle-school aged boys get into an altercation on the playground. The story explores the comedic and primitive nature of what happens when parents defend their children.
The play contains scenes, language and subject matter that are intended for mature audiences.
